About us
Established in 2015 by Andrew Mole, Moroccan White's journey began at Portobello market in Notting Hill, driven by a deep passion for Moroccan artisan products. Using his extensive experience in Morocco, Andrew meticulously sourced the finest homewares, predominantly those with natural or neutral colour tones.
The very first product brought across by Andrew to Portobello was the distinctive Moroccan white Berber rug, made from natural organic sheep’s wool and hence the company name was born.
The Berber rug remains a signature product of Moroccan White, embodying the attributes of all subsequent products – natural, handmade and sustainable.
